did anyone surf the western part of the island today? I know it's not LI proper, but Rockaway was off the ****ing chain today. Rights, lefts, whatever; it was all working. There is a jetty (not to be named) that is working so good right now. Mid tide a nice little A-frame peaks in the middle of 'the box'. What the deal with everything chilling off the jetty waiting for a left?
Some folks just don't know better. The jetties are great but they don't always have the best waves... so when they don't- rejoice! Be glad everyone is gravitated towards these piles of rocks and you are scoring waves right under their noses.
Is this your way of enticing possible future roommates? By the way chillin by the jetty waiting for a left is teh titties. Have you ever seen a right off the jetty? It's the same titties.
