The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel is the greatest road in the world...

Park your car on the bridge, jump into the bay and paddle towards Fisherman's Island. Sit and wait for that magic day.

in the am the wind will be n-ne but the tide will be high. masonboro will be horrible

on shore winds for most of the day

in the evening the wind will be se so the only decent place would be crystal.... but it hates high tide too

Hey, how's that OC Inlet doing these days?

 

Isn't there a spot that get's good on the rare occasion with the SE swell and N-NE wind that is near WB (Rhetorical)???

 

48th gets too crowded, I think people like being on camera

Dude(Moon), if you can afford it, after taxes, just drive to the Banks. It's a more spiritual ocean place. Just watch out for Elizabeth City residents hanging at 7-11 and The Pit.

if you got the time, go south, it's almost always better down there. If you got stuff to do later that day, then vee bee is better than nuthin. I'll be out at the north end as I got crap to do. looks like it should be fun, and the water has warmed up a lot in the past few weeks.
