summer swells? unlimited funds?
lets explore indo, its not ALL mapped out

 

In short, Costa Rica. LOTS of uncrowded breaks to choose from...
Nosara has great barrels, however this is still an epic, big break with the right swell.
May-november is PEAK season for Costa Rica. It's at least head high most of the time, usually more then head high. Better to go around June-August.
(never been there, just advising this might be the kind of break you want)

 

Correct me if i'm wrong, but summer in indo is November-February.

 

O'hawkfart our summer is the austral winter, when it pumps in indo
collectively there is more landmass in the northern hemi, so everywhere that counts calls june/july/august summer

and costa? costa? come on now, there might be some hidden gems, but at least go to Nicaragua, heaps better but both have orders of magnitude less coastline than indo, and the waves are less consistent than indo ta boot

Hawkeye, can I recommend a plan of action?
1) get a credit card
2) go to Latin America and then Indonesia and let me know what you think, write 300 words about each place

 

Nova Scotia or Ireland.

 

"Seasons" are probably kind of hard to tell just by looking at the temperature in places around the equator. Doesn't really matter, just matters where and when there are waves.

it seems like for EC, theres mostly never waves, anywhere.

 

I'll take a shot at the Philippines. It's got a thousand islands, none of which are as crowded as many Indo spots. There's got to be at least a dozen waves as good as that "Cloud 9" spot...maybe even a Teahupoo around one of the passes.

Kinda shocked that there hasn't been any votes for Belmar yet...

 

Im going with Ireland. I used to live there. You can actually rent VW van/buses to travel around in. I will line up some sluts if you wanna go. Im sure we will run into Spicoli on some work related lady slaying mission.

and kr, I reckon Philippines has some goods, there's remote areas in both island chains. the SW swells through the Indian Ocean are not beat anywhere in terms of consistency, I am going with Indo

 

Of coarse there is only one correct answer: BELMAR, NJ. For those of you who don't know..

Maldives... Perfect surf, luxury hotels and vacationing super models.

 

I would use the money to add an extra bathroom onto my house where I could take a sh!t on a Saturday morning without being bothered.

 

My pops put an outdoor shower and pooper in a few years back. Nothing better than dropping a Duece on a spring morning hearing the birds chirp and watching clouds roll by. Glorious.
