    Holy crap these are some of the best posts in a long while!

    To the OP, you cannot actually delete and account. Someone ( Itthought it was Gaff or Lee) posted a while back of a way to do it by changing your password to soemthing you cannot remember after linking your account to and email account that you shut down so you cannot recover the password. Seems a bit extreme so I say just listen to Metard or Ronnie above and everythign will be cool.
