Are all reef surfers reefers? How does such a word originate?

If he paddles out . Can't let that stuff get into your head. If he gets eaten, it's not his fault. Just in the wrong neighborhood at the wrong time. Nothing to be scared about. Shock, bleed out, black out. If we worried about sharks every time we surf we wouldn't surf. Nothin you can do about it. Man, I need to get high!
