Just curious how has it been for you...Florida has been good for quite some time, it's starting to slow down a bit now, though. Just want to know how your area has been and if you've been catching some though out the last seasons. How would you rate it. Scale of 1 to 10...10 being best of coarse.

For me it was a 9, like you said its been good, sometimes real good! Never surfed as much in my life and never surfed as good either, fun is an understatement.

2014 was one of the best years in recent memory until Halloween. November through now has been lackluster. A few good days here and there, but overall below average.

you in NE, 'cause that's pretty spot on up here...even the "good" days somethings been generally off...good period & cross shores...solid size & good period-off shores too heavy, good period & good size-tide is off and currents sloshing it up....your estimation on good until and bad after is on point too...seems like from the giving '13 - october '14 i could pick a day out of the week and the worst i'd get is 1-3" @8/9...since october '14 until now that would be off the hook

i mean i got a big day like two weeks ago...6-8", nobody out...but period was shyte due to multiple swells, the cross drift + a slight rip was nuts (had to keep paddling back in every 10 min cause i was 50-75 yds from where i had just paddled to) and when i'd give up on waiting for the big sets and sit a little in past the heavier bombs that would show up every now and then (to try and avoid the drift/rip) a heavier bomb would show up and i'd have to paddle my a$$ off to get back outside in time not to get hammered...then repeat the process all over

anyway, i'd say i had maybe 3 or 4 "good days" since nov '14...but i'm in ME so i guess that's how it goes. whatever...

debating whether or not it's worth going a week with no wifey action to paddle out for an hour or two for 3" @ 5 on mother's day...so desperate

'15 has suuuucked...recent weather is pretty sweet though

Yup. I am just so glad we have had waves and it's a pleasure to watch him surf, so I can be patient. And, I would rather get used to the board in small conditions anyway, so, it's all good!
