So...I quit my job. Somehow they offered me a consulting gig for the same company. In short, they pay me for 10 hours a month in case something goes to **** (I would work remotely). And I get paid regardless if they need me, of which the chances are close to 0...not a bad gig if you ask me First thing I thought of was....****ing awesome, me and my girl are moving to Bali and getting us some indo chicks, early retirement (i'm 28...hah). But **** I can't as I just launched a tech startup and the time difference is way to big. Where would you move to if you could for a few months? Has to be cheap... under $1000/month pp
Stay true to your roots and move to Nova Scotia. F third world countries and malaria. Indo sucks. They kill people who have hash. Nova Scotia is the greatest place on the planet. Their McDonalds are staffed by friendly people not 2 Live Crew, DPSUP's favorite native Floridian group. Just love Nova Scotia. Plus, there's nothing but Canadians around there and you can push them around fairly easily.
Sure you can. I work with people in all diff timezones. West coast, east coast, ireland, belgium, india, singapore, china, brazil. You make it work. You have meetings at odd hours. And you work sometimes at night. It's a small price to pay to be in Bali..............
I think he doesn't want his chick to take off with some other chick in bali and newb you still owe me some photos of said chick hahahah
Hold on here. Are you friggin moving or taking a friggin trip? Why/how do all these people just "move" to foreign countries? Isn't there that little immigration/legal resident thing to contend with? Canadians just constantly move to America, especially if they are Dan Akroyd or Michael Myers. I can't just move to friggin Canada, well maybe in Alberta if they are still suffering from worker shortages. But it's a process, not just a snap your finger thing.
Near Toronto Time Zone: OBX, Central Florida, PR, Brazil. Same Hemisphere: Central California Coast, Mexico, CR, Peru
you kook, nova scotia is a different time zone ec somewhere? i'd say Wilmington for a "city", buxton/avon for the island life...ocean isle for a mix betwixt the two
