This should be a national holiday. No one should work on Thank A Glasser Day. This sh!t is hard if you don't know what you're doing.

    4+6oz with lots of bubbles.

Drilling and filling. Ran out of clean sandpaper.

Why don't you post pics of your 83' gnome board, missy? The stick that you claimed you were gonna test drive with your one-toofed mister potato head bro-in-law 'Jim' & his gnome board trailer.

Then why did he trailer it to the beach that day, "brah"....?

Have you ever been to CR? Or is that above your pay grade, missy?

If you've been to CR, and if you saw the fucast last week, then you know what CR is like, missy. Ah....never been there? I see. Requesting pics of me? ugh

Late at night, you're online inquiring about my travel & my surfing: you should own up to your jealousy, asswipe. And be fair to your ignana sleeping wife regarding your down-low existence as a ball sack stalker troll.

Take another look at the question. You could have replied with anything. Defense game strong. Why so mad? You could have told me about a pretty bird you saw or something.

I didn't ask for any pics either. Thanks but no thanks. See any birds?

That's you projecting per your usual, chrome dome. Why so keen on anything & everything that Yankee does, twisted missy?

You never leave S Cackalacky, yet you have an oversized diarrhea-spewing flapping mouf like a (w)itch. As has been noted on this Forum, you run your mouf every time I'm on a surf trek and/or Admin/what's his name sends me to time out.

Post up as to how it feels to be obsessed with Yankee, asshat.

A good glasser deserves a lot of credit. For one, it's not an easy job to do correctly, and nobody notices when you do. Muck it up, though, and you'll never hear the end of it. How many times have you heard, "weak glass job!" My guess is fewer times than you've heard, "this shape's a dog!"

Second... it's boring as hell doing clear board after clear board. Zero creativity in that. Once you get into tints and pinlines and swirls, then it gets fun and interesting. But with the increased costs of that kind of work, and the disposable board mentality that prevails today, very few people are interested in spending the money on aesthetics.

    Thank a glasser every day...

Clemmie, wtf did you do to that thing, hahaha.

I have never glassed a board, but doing ding repair, if I dont' have good lighting, and especially if I am rushing/mixing hot, that's when I get the bubbles.

Did you use UV resin? That should eliminate the rush factor. Good lighting.... you've got a garage man. Still, cool looking board, I'm not making one myself so don't take my criticism to heart.

Thanks for the input LB. Once again, I haven't glassed a board, just large repairs ... But I feel like sanding would be the toughest part of the glass job. Then again, when I see super clean lap lines, it is certainly a thing of beauty...

I guess I'm just validating your point ... and in any lower production shop the glasser will be doing the sanding also, right?.

I could imagine sanding being a nightmare on any high performance shape with a sand finish.

No worries SD. I'm youtube taught so there is a huge margin of error. What I should have done was lay out the 4 oz glass, wet it out then put on the 6 oz patch... or something like that.

Instead, I put on both pieces at the same time so I had bubbles between the two layers and everywhere else. Glassing is stressful. I'm going to experiment with epoxy next. Polyester stinks up the place even when the garage door is open.

Yeah ... definitely laminate one at a time. Epoxy or not ... go with the UV resin. You'll have lots of time to fix/redo any mistakes before catalyzing it, and it doesn't reek as much as the regular stuff.

Nice looking board LBCrew! I like the colors, looks like a fun one that will stand out for sure.

    Why no singlefin?
