The lesson to be learned from Rome, and other historical parallels is that you cannot assume the violence will remain in Asian countries. LOL...funny you should ask that. This Memorial Weekend I thought a lot about my dad, who in WW2 was one of General McArthurs radiomen, Signal Corp ("General, HQ calling", as he hands him the radio). When, in college (early 70s), I had real long hair, he always wanted me to get it cut; insisted.. Finally, out of desperation he asked me," Do you get laid more often because of it??!!??"
