If you are asking then maybe yes or maybe no.

I am betting if that is you in your Avatar, then you already know the answer.

It's all chemicals. You are a walking bag of chemicals. You evolved into what you are from a primordial blue-green algae soup like a billion years ago. As a result of mutations over hundreds of millions of years, you have arrived here for a mere blink of an eye in the history of the Earth. So when you, the sophisticated recreating bag of chemicals hits the water and starts to enjoy yourself, you can feel it. That feeling, that stoke, is not just something intangible. It's not just a feeling that will leave you. It is an alteration of your chemistry. In turn, the alteration of your chemistry can impart that same feeling to others. I guess you can say it is contagious, but rather, I like to call it a transfer of energy from one altered chemical state impacting another. So yes, it is quite real.

I sold my stoke to the devil.im just burnt out lol,I wanted to go surf this pm and the waves that aren't even waves went from like 3 ft this morning to .375 ft.hopefully I can catch a clean up sesh sunday, but who knows, these forecasts change 6 x a day.fukin beach badges man, thats why I hate summer.u think yea lets enjoy some warm water, but pay for it,and share it with a thousand new Yorkers.actually thinking about it I blame new York for my loss of stoke.driving home from work and theres a new Yorker in every line going 50 mph in a 65mph with no cars ahead of them.best part is ny has better beaches than nj,I just don't get it.i finally get it tokin,I don't get it!!

It's definitely real, but on the flip side, if no waves have been ridden in a while, stoke isn't as high

Stoke is like your energy in the video game of life. Waves and pu$$y up your stoke Good drugs spike your stoke like a star punch in Tyson's Punch Out but you lose it immediately after you use it and sometimes it makes you less stoked in the aftermath. Stoke is real to some, fabricated for others (who A. don't realize they're doing it, or B. do it consciously). But we're all just Dali-an dripping clocks bros, and the purest experiences, true stokes of the fire, are the solidity on which our dripping clocks are held.

Nice....and a valid question. Two guys could catch the same wave with the same results and one would be stoked while the other...well I don't know. I think Uncle was on the right track. Some I guess manufacture stoke and some it just comes natural.

Stokamine levels are real, and should definitely be a priority.

Sunday was so much fun up here ... the stoke is just subsiding now. I used to get amped most sessions but now, if I have a dissapointing sesh, I feel like my stokamine levels can actually drop. I don't know how to manage it man, I just don't.

Yeah, they help my stoke temporarily, but doesn't help my gut, neither does flatness. WE NEED WAVES!
