Oh wait... I think I'm the only guy from Oregon that even occasionally posts here. Never mind.

Indeed! Of course, in true bureaucratic fashion, it will be another year or more until you can buy it anywhere without a med card.

the Oregon decriminalization sounds a lot better than Colorado, plus they get really good waves up in Oregon.i heard u can grow 4 plants, keep up to 8 oz in ur home, and carry an oz in ur possession and not get in trouble.fukin fat phuck Christie needs to go ahead and move to the moon or something,if he becomes pres, which will never happen lol,hes taking away all ur guys weed!!

Yeah Oregon has the most liberal policy of all states that have legalized it so far I believe. They are going to allow the medical dispensaries to sell recreational October 1st with full-on shops to open later in 2016. It's been basically decriminalized here for years though, just making it all official-like.

And yeah, good luck with that Christie guy- dude needs to get with the 21st century.

I am hoping for a chain reaction, as more states see the light.

The people that pay my paychecks are German, and they really don't mind the green. They may seem uptight in Europe, but they are progressive by American standards.

Hell yeah. With all the old retired people down there, I think the market would be great. What else are you going to do when you are retired? Have breakfast for 2 hours, play golf, lay on the beach, then take some bong rips.

HAHAHA True.... but for me, i'd like to be able to take my medicine and not have to worry about any legal issues. It's helps me with anxiety and sleep. I'll have to put it down for a little bit soon though because I'm looking for a new jobby job since I'm relocating. Would be nice to just say hey, I have a medical card so If you find it in my system, it's legal and still get the job. The company I work for now has hired people who have tested positive for herb, i'm sure others will too, but i'm not going to chance it.

I will say there are certain benefits in states that fall somewhere in the grey area of decrim/med vs recreational.

I think maria juanita is far better for you than alcohol and tobacco. Those are legal. Both addictive as f*ck and have destroyed many lives and families. Gov't sponsored/approved/and tax skimmed. Don't expand or introduce anything into your mind or life but sedation, aggression, and false pseudo bravado image of thyself which typically leads to disastrous outcomes (best scenario being the morning after, and only for thyself).
Trying to quit drinking and smoking is a ridiculous uphill with a lot of slippery patches. Maybe that's why these things are legal....

I've heard rumors that mind expansion is frowned upon, since it leads to a peaceful society.

I think it has the potential to move as quickly or even quicker as the whole gay marriage thing has. That took about 12 years to go from the first state (Mass) to nationwide. As more states come online and people see that the horrors that the opposition present just aren't true, the tide will turn. It IS coming. It's just a matter of when.

Heare, heare! Medical should be on the ballot again next year. I do hope you voted for it last time. While a large majority of Floridians are in favoure, it was narrowly defeated, helped by a last minute influx of $$$ from Sheldon Adelson, I guess so folks would keep boozing and gambling at his casinos. Being a mid-term election didn't help with turnout either.

In Miami Dade County they just passed a resolution giving police the option of issuing a $100 ticket instead of arresting somebody for simple possesion. Broward is aboot to do the same. Kinda stupid considering a cop pretty much has some discretion anyway (I've been the beneficiary of that) but it shows that things are changing. Yay!
