Boston and Philly are just as racist as the South, no doubt. Maybe more racist. A wise elderly person once told me that the North lets Blacks advance but they won't live amongst them. The South doesn't let Blacks advance but they live more harmoniously. IDK if it's true cuz I'm a yankee but I believe it.

The problem is that the ultra-exclusive have created this culture that people like us can't ever understand. There are colleges here in the northeast that you've never heard of that pump out "smart" ultra-liberal chumps who go to NYC and publish garbage stories that determine what's acceptable.

Bates, Bowdoin, Weslyan, Amherst, Williams....not to mention the classic goober ivy league schools. These people run our lives and tell us what to think. From a skyscraper in New York City.

We need a populist movement in this country and since we are the ones who pay taxes, it will probably work. Unite, now, before it's too late.

 

We are. We live in SC, and we feel it is time for the flag to take a permanent spot in a museum. Seems like many reps up in Columbia feel the same way. Take it down, stop all the focus on a stupid flag, and move on. Both sides are giving the subject far too much attention.

There has been too much talk about the flag especially since in the month of June there were 45 murders in Chicago and we hear nothing about it. But one lunatic kills some innocent people and is seen in a picture holding the confederate flag and "everyone" wants it banned. Why wasn't it put up for a popular vote? It wasn't, because they knew it would shot down and the politicians are so risk adverse they didn't want to take that chance of having a deeper discussion about the subject.

The murders in Charleston are not the point. That is an issue far greater than any flag controversy. It should have never been used as a reason to take it down. The flag should have been taken down long before this (or never put up in the first place). It does not represent the confederacy, because it is a battle flag. It doesn't represent heritage. It was simply a middle finger to the government over the desegregation thing. Like it or not, people have to accept that the confederacy lost and were marked as traitors to the US government. The only constant reminder we should have of the civil war is how horrible it was, and why we should find common ground to unify all the states. Chicago is a bad example. It is a cesspool of violence, and has been for years. Police and political corruption in that place has left it in a mess.

ANYWAYS, Philly isn't more racist than the south. Yeah there's no areas covered in "NO BLACKS" signs in the north. Ok maybe in central and western PA, but that place is like Alabama anyways. Not many recorded lynchings in the north during the 20th century.

They should have a Penalty Box. And any one who gets banned would be placed in the box and those in the box could type messages to each other. We'll have the box in the bottom left hand corner. Non-punished members could post in "the penalty box," but those "in the box" can't respond or initiate contact with the "good, law abiding members" until their period of punishment ends.

That would be totally twitchin.
