If fixing pot holes made our government officials and their masters trillions of dollars, then our infrastructure would be like every other industrialized country. As far as collecting taxes and financial bubbles, Our officials fixed that for their masters. We, however, are fugged on that note.

Because we have trade relations with the Saudis, and their leadership is not usually aggressive towards the USA. However, you of all people should understand that being from a country does not mean you claim allegiance to that country or its leadership.

there was a lot of shady stuff about 9/11 that is for sure, as to the depths of a conspiracy one should look into their own leaders first. I do not believe that there is enough evidence to support nor do I think that our own leaders would do the attack themselves...but their was mounting evidence, chatter and current investigations going on that knew they were planning an attack, I think the conspiracy lies in the fact we as a country did little to prevent it,....
I will copy an excerpt from dondi condi rice testimony .....

RICE: I remember very well that the president was aware that there were issues inside the United States. He talked to people about this. But I don't remember the al Qaeda cells as being something that we were told we needed to do something about.

BEN-VENISTE: Isn't it a fact, Dr. Rice, that the August 6 PDB warned against possible attacks in this country? And I ask you whether you recall the title of that PDB?

RICE: I believe the title was, "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States."

just curious....How are we fugged? You have freedom don't you? You keep blasting America. "fixing" the global financial dynamic is one big gnarly game. The Fed, IMF, and the US Dollar...China Currency....Greek Default...the list goes on. Would you rather be standing in a bread line? Our Gov't is far from perfect and our country is riddled with atrocities. The art of war is a nasty phenomenon that has evolved since freaking Vikings were pillaging villages. War sucks for sure. Global resources and trade will drive "strategery" until the end. Why don't you quit *****ing and go out and watch the sunrise and be thankful that you can.

I never said the Govt did not wage a war in Iraq and Afghanistan after the fact, and I fully believe they saw an oppourtunity based on public support to go to war after the events happened. All I said was they did not plan, casue or facilitate the attacks in any way. We went to Afghanistan to get Bin Laden who was the matermind/supporter of the attacks and attackers. Screw what country they came from. Like Brew said we had no reason to attack Saudi Arabia due to what some radical citizens from there did. Hell look at the killing in San Fran last week. That guy was from Mexico. So since he killed one of our citizens should we now go bomb Mexico?

Well said Jay D but Chica thrives on being Chicken Little and believes the sky is always falling. Somewhere in his past a Govt offical must have pulled a Wayne on him and that made his butt sore so now he will never trust any "offical" again. Also like all conspiracy nuts he loves to whine and moan but has never offered any thoughts on how to fix what he percieves as broken. All Chica knows how to do is to watch youtube clips of whack jobs claiming the world is ending and the US Govt or Nibiru is casuing it then repost them to start arguments. He for some reason thinks this will bring about change but all it does is make rational people think he is bat sh!t crazy.

Chica if the Govt is really so corupt and broken then you and your band of merry men go stage a fuking coup d'etat and fix the sh!t.

Unless you (not you Frost) had you're head in the sandbar, this was a generally accepted principal...the fiber of his being so to speak.

Now it's ISIL. Whether the Iraq war created a vacuum for them (ISIL) to flourish is not the point...This war will not be over until all humans are bowing down to Allah. Until then, the Bin Laden's will surface and the West will bat them down.

Gnar, very good analogy with the sanctuary city killing.

the point of going into those other countries was because of 9 eleven and the threat of nuclear attacks. Neither had to do with either.

Bingo! Exactly! Defense contractors and leaders in our own government who profit from war are vermin. Especially, when the war is unnecessary. If you decide to declare war, you should be required to fight on the front line or your next of kin goes.

"you should be required to fight on the front line or your next of kin goes. "

I like this idea. Can you imagine a bunch of politcos on the front line. Retreat, Retreat, we don't have enough votes ...retreat!

And for the record, I would happily take up arms to defend the land that I inhabit, and the people I share it with...but I would not go fight some foreign war because some suit has vested interests.

I know im gonna tread on thin ice here, but I think it needs to be said,,one of the biggest cons our govt has ever pulled off is conning young men(and women) into the armed forces to go somewhere in the middle of no where to "fight for our freedom"
say it as it is fight for their freedom
but don't cloak it like its a fight for the homeland of Americas freedom
this list may not be complete but
Iraq-Posed no threat to usa homeland
Afghanistan_posed no threat to usa homeland
Vietnam- no threat to usa homeland
    korea-no threat to usa-homeland
