I got a 5'10 with stock dims a few months ago and love it. Haven't pushed it in anything much overhead yet, but in the waist to head high range that board is pretty much been magic for me
For reference, I am 5'9", 130lbs, and scraping the bottom of advanced surfing. I used to surf a 5'11" weber afterburner and was looking for something a little bit more maneuverable. I bought a 5'2" Lost Rocket (the first of the V series) and it turned around my surfing. Suddenly cutbacks and snaps became effortless, pumps actually get you down the line, I get more ariel launches a session (when there are 2ft+ waves) this summer than I got all last summer put together. Everything I like in performance the rocket accentuates and everything I hate is gone. It is a skateboard! If I could get my hands on a cheap, appropriately sized v3, I would totally snag it if it operates anything like the original rocket. Disclaimer: It is not a summer flats board. Use the V3 rockets weight, to skill, to volume chart on Lost's website to make sure its the right size. for the rocket: wave range: anything barreling between 2ft-6ft and 8ft if you are really ambitious. My love for the rocket may be attributed to the contrast between the rocket and my last board, not necessarily entirely due to the rockets awesomeness.
good board...wasnt my favorite, but good all around board...for small-med/large. Look up shred show on youtube and chris gives an overview of the board. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9DEiLTurqY
