I must say, I was a little proud of myself yesterday.

STOKED! get off work on a Friday afternoon, the wifey green light for an evening surf, finding actual fun waves and a beautiful late afternoon sun to shoot a couple before paddling out. from around 6...Delmarva

Nice pics by Mitchell. Same thing was happening on Wednesday just down the coast at the-place-that-shall-not-be-named prior to high tide & through high tide. Lotta fun out there on a 9'6 Augie. Not too many vampires. And no sightings.

 

I was actually down that way Wednesday as well. Morning was off the hook fun! then I pushed my luck and tried for the low tide incoming late afternoon session. Fading swell, lightning and harsh side shore north wind that I think came up about 10 minutes before I paddled out. Not complaining a bit....the past few weeks have been pretty amazing for summer.

 

Quite frankly, your photography is very gay. Stop posting them--it is not good for you, trust me.

Got cleared by the doc and finally made it out today. Typical summer slop but good to get back on it. Ankle was sore popping up but it held up OK. Heading out again tomorrow.

 

Right on Mitchell.

 

Back on the grid for 2 days... Got to meet tlokien and had a drink with him and and his wife with my son and wife. Good Peeps!
Surfed 30 days straight. Some days waist to chest, some days toe to ankle... But could always find a bump if you know where to look! Coaching clinics then 3 more weeks at beach.
Just checking in. Saw some sharks but have all limbs and digits!

Great meeting you and your fam too cbscrewby, and much respect to your son for his service. My wife remarked about how humble he was, you've raised a fine young man.

I got about a dozen knee slappers from 1-2pm, ankle felt even better than Sat. Now I just gotta get my arse back in shape.

Keep your limbs and digitz and hopefully we can share some waves when I get back down 8\15!
