I was watching that crazy wipeout on surfline where the dude got sucked up the lip and thrown into the reef.then the kealla kennely or whatever her name is popped up on the side with that huge gash that nearly took her face off.they actually have a video for it,never saw it before but u can look it up on surfline,the kealla interview wipeout.so yea guys get thrown over lips come out unscathed.her wipeout that took her face off,was literally a 3-4 ft wave and she got caught in the end.it wasn't a long hold down or anything crazy,but she comes up bleeding all over the place.so yea smaller waves are more lethal than big waves.......
