Should be pretty fun....one of the better forecast I have seen in a while.

My little go to sandbar should be fun for this little window of opportunity.

Who's spot is going to get it?

oh good I thought I was still high from the fumes at work when I seen the forecast.didnt look like that yesterday....

I just don't get why the waves jumped, and im not getting my hopes up.when its completely dry and hot,no weather systems moving in,that usually means its going to be flat.maybe its a windswell and Friday is going to be 40knots or something but I doubt it.

I sure hope it holds tho, these 1-3ft forecasts sound decent, but I show up and its a lake.not even a shorebreak u can skim.

i go on the weather channel basically for my surf forecasts.i come on here to talk lol.when i see a low moving in il check si to see whats happening since i cant predict what size its going to be.the closer the isobars are in the low,the better the waves.far apart means lulls and or somewhere else is going to be epic, but not here

I kinda miss the weather channel. I have fios and their Accuweather! It's OK and they loop a local and they show the local radar more often but that is it.

I still think Friday eve and Sat morn are the ticket. Yes, I am getting way too excited for the possibility of surfing a waist high+ wave!

BELMAR is situated to pick up the most of this particular swell from the entire eastern seaboard.

Everywhere else will be the predicted 2-3 ft while Belmar will be overhead- perfect barrels.

Don't forgot to pick up all your surf gear needs at the best and biggest surf shop around- right across the street from the main break in Belmar! Support your local shop!!!

Hey yo seldom- you bringing down the ski or what?!?

    Surf

Waist to chest high SSE wind swell for the morning with occasional shoulder high sets. This drops a bit in the afternoon.

    Conditions

Clean in the morning with W winds 5-10mph. Semi glassy conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting NNW less than 5mph.

Cep, dude, it's blowing SSW or something like that 10 - 20 mph. A low is scooting across the area later today, homeboy.

JAYD: Yo, I've either missed any context clues or just forget because I smoke herb, but what state you repping, homey?

lol I got fios too, sucks they took the weather channel down.i just go to it on my phone.still better than cablevision tho...

only thing that sucks and somewhat good is that the swell is hitting Saturday and im going to wake up early and my normal 10 minute commute to my surf spot will probably take an hour with all the people going to the hook.im happy I don't have to work, but not happy that il be stuck in traffic and fighting for a parking spot.i don't go to public beaches in the summer,i don't pay to see the ocean.but the waves will make it all worth it.unless I show up and theres 100 people at my spot,i wont be surprised

Too late. Already started. "Beast" Ice. Cheap a$$ street drunk swill. But taste improves with the number of cans consumed... up to a point. I'm testing that limit now.
Not that any of this it makes any difference in our "coastal cul-de-sac" (VB). Been out 4 times this week with nothing much to show other than a dinged long board and a skeg-lacerated face. I was desperate to get in the water despite the knee high, shallow-breaking surf. Too old for this sh*t. Maybe take up fricking golf. Wear plaid pants, pastel-colored shirts, white shoes, and drive around in fat-a$$ golf cart. What am I saying? Never!

Already began the weekend early. Taking Friday off. Will be camping with friends at redneck RV park in Sandbridge. May be a sprinkling of Confederate flags. Nice folks, but they like to party. Many probably won't live long lives, but after what I've seen at my Dad's nursing home, living long isn't always that great. ...Buzz kill.
Will throw board on car and have it with me this weekend. Ya never know.

that sucks XX. Sorry to hear that dude. Skeg to the head sucks. I would start drinking too! Have you ever tried Bud Ice? My bro n law loves that stuff. It has to be as cold as beer can get for me to get one of those down.
