LOL I knew you were going to bring his cancer up and his treatments.

But of course Steve Jobs had to be made an example of. The Sick Care Industry is not going to allow someone as prominent as Steve Jobs to propose an alternative to their extremely profitable model. He had to be made into a fool on this topic.

His choice of alternative approaches didn't kill him, his cancer did.

and his so called reluctance is pure hearsay.

given the fact that the 5 year survival rate after diagnosis for all types of cancer is only 3.3%, its obvious that the cancer treatment industry is just that, an "industry". and all industries must show a profit in order to sustain themselves.

get off your all knowing high horse Brew and try to be humble for once, instead of blindly attacking anything that goes against your dominant left brain ideologies.

Dude, I was in Italy recently and my GF's stepfather made some saltimbocca. That stuff is the sh*t. I think I had 7 or 8 pieces.

As for all this meat stuff, all of you hardcore carnivores should visit Argentina. Free range & grass-fed beef everywhere. The best part is, you know it's pure natural meat, because the Argentine government can't even afford to disperse antibiotics via chemtrail.

Anyway, this thread is making me hungry. Might have to get some BBQ with the GF tonight. If I can find the place... my sense of direction is terrible these days. Probably all that goddamn Flouride in the water!

Alternative methods do not have a measurable level of success, while traditional methods do. I don't believe I stated anything about natural medicine killing him. Despite the low chances of survival, at this point we will never know whether he could have survived if he had used traditional methods in the beginning. What research shows, is that delaying traditional treatment often leads to more problems. And, as usual, you are not properly comprehending the article you posted...

Key words. After pancreatic cancer spreads, your chances of survival are very very small. However, Jobs had a slow moving form of pancreatic cancer. Survival for decades is not uncommon.
    http://www.cancer.gov/types/pancreatic/hp/pnet-treatment-pdq
"Five-year survival is about 55% when the tumors are localized and resected but only about 15% when the tumors are not resectable.[2] Overall 5-year survival rate is about 42%.[1]"

    Then you misquoted this part:
They are talking specifically about pancreatic cancer. Cancer in the pancreas is rare and often deadly.

In children alone, we see around 80% chance of survival with cancer. http://www.cancer.org/acs/groups/content/@research/documents/webcontent/acspc-041787.pdf

With all cancers, survival rates range greatly, but most are 50% or greater...

Here is an in depth look at Jobs' case and the scientific overview of the options he had (and didn't take).

I am not all-knowing. I am not the one preaching to the forum every time someone posts about food, diet, or lifestyle. You came into a random thread that should have been a fun thread and started demonizing people for their diet choices. That sounds like a know-it-all to me. I am only in this thread to counter the BS you spew. Why should anyone trust your opinion and "research" on the topic, when you can't even comprehend the basic information in the first couple paragraphs of a short article you post? If people want nutritional advice, they need to seek out a medical professional with years of experience and research on nutrition. They don't need scary yootoob videos or advice from random internet people. Unlike you and your youtube videos, there are standards in place to try and keep these medical professionals honest. While it may not be perfect, it is 100x better than not having anything at all (like the unregulated BS on the internet).

Now, can we go back to talking about delicious bacon?

I have done that one as well. Here is another: cook them about halfway, skewer, then brush them with a butter and garlic and then toss them on the grill.

Brussels are Krip. I like to add da prosciutto. Cook them like brew (minus balsamic and with garlic and onion powder) I chop the prosciutto into small pieces and toss it on top and mix up real good about 1/2 way through the cook time.

No no no. I didn't say his approach didn't lead to his death. I very much believe his chances wod have been better if he had just used modern medicine and surgery from the start. However, the natural cures themselves probably didn't speed up or slow down his death. They were basically like doing nothing at all. He is a little crazy for the choices he made with his own health. That is what makes it funny that you used his quote. This all doesn't change the fact that you didn't comprehend the article you linked. Now, please move along. That is, unless you have advice on how to cook chicken and bacon. Perhaps a side dish?

I do something similar, but to cut the cook time down, cut in half, par boil in salted water, drain... season and roast until done to your liking. When they're about 3-5 minutes away from done, toss in some minced shallots and garlic.
