srsly? you mean like the direct advise given by many not to shoulderhopp on others? I'd rather you have no leash at all than be dropping in on people. You might want to tie your leash to a tree and figure out how to attach your stuff to it so it can't be pitted. you're welcome.

that wasn't the 1st time someone threw your stuff in the water Brad.

    No way.

Guys like you are bad sh!t magnets. Bad sh!t is attracted to you and you bring it on yourself.

It's been a while since I bought one but when you buy a leash doesn't the string it comes with come already tied together? Who the heck is untying it? You just stick it through pull the knot through the loop.

If it is tied wrong on some unsuspecting friendly strangers board who has probably surfed with it that way a while, who is untying it on the beach? No one that's who. Why would you untie something already tied and tight from stress that has been working just fine? Untying and retying the knot will probably cause it to become undone. You are helping no one out there Brad.

The world and you would be better off if you just start taking it easy and go surfing.

Brad, do you like maybe have Aspergers? You seem to miss out on some key subtle social signs.

if you dont do it correctly you can ding your board on a heavy day too. the thin rope will go right through the glass

My first leash was basically a giant bungee cord. That never made sense to me.

Yup... a leather strap at one end, and remember where it was attached to the board?.... A hole in the fin!
