outer banks is going off 6ft to 10+ the whole week. Break out the skis seldom!

    how when will get some clean up days.... heading to wrightsville beach and holden tonight never surfed in that area its been on my bucket list for the east coast, will be some decent waves. mesg me if your down to surf and show me the area. we down here in south carolina had 2-4 foot clean waves the past 5 days amazing. what a crazy front this had been. i hope yall in the obx and ocmd score some good days. id head up to the obx but who knows whats going to happen i predict 1-2 good days outta the 7 if the long term forecast holds up which we all know it doesnt lol.

    I've been to Wrightsville 3 times, always went to beach access 4. Lucked out and waves were always fun and the vibe was cool. Was nice in April when up here I was wearing a 5/3 with gloves and boots, at WB I was in a 3/2, no gloves, no boots. Anyway, hope ya score!!

    Wrightsville and Carolina are Both totally blown out, been here all weekend had to save a dude yesterday thinking he was drowning in shoulder deep water. Need a jetty to hold the wind off.

    SB, don't even bother with SNC, go straight to OBX and wait it out. Wednesday on will give you what you crave in droves. Uncrowded barrels, Hatteras in the fall is the best surf trip the EC has to offer as you probably already know. All that wind will eventually sit down, have fun..

    dont think its gonna pan out down there. when its this big and wooly, it usually doesnt clean up as everyone thinks. but when it does clean up....

    no one go to the outer banks. its gonna suck. dont listen to what anyone else says. go home and surf there

    Agreed skip SNC been bummed most of the week due to horrific winds. Ran to CB this afternoon praying for a cleanup and bored outta my mind. No dice WB even worse. Drive back contemplated what's worse: long flat spells or spells of swell but sh!t conditions. I know both too well, guess I'll take up whatever doesn't consistently shatter my hopes.
    Anybody in SNC paddle out today? There were moments it look doable but the couple heads I saw didn't belong but they get 10 points for effort.
