just checked the cam,seen a dumptruck load of sand on the beach,dont know if they are replenishing or trying to combat the storm surge for these 18 footers we're supposed to get.i havnt checked the cams in days,just wanted to see how it looked since I'm seeing people saying they been surfing
Not that I'm aware of. The section they're doing now, from Allenhurst to Elberon, is the final phase of the current project, from what I understand.
they're not replenishing it, they just make dunes for the winter... they're in deal now... made 99% of the breaks in the southern deal allenhurst loch arbor area disappear
Looks like thy are making dunes. I saw news 4 and news 12 trucks there today- so maybe there is something on the news... I was thinking they might be dredging /pumping down that lake como again too...
Whatever they are doing it's with that same orange construction dirt they used last year. You know, the stuff they supposedly dredged from off of sandy hook... hhaha. Who are they fooling with that sh1t? That dirt is disgusting and it's never seen the water before. The whole f0cking thing is a waste of tax dollars. How does this stuff even get approved? Doesn't the ACofE have a few middle east countries to go rebuild? get the f0ck off my beach.

damn I never seen the orange dirt.and as a pretty long sandy hook local,i have never seen orange sand in sandy hook lol,so it didn't come from there. yea but Belmar actually had really good sandbars this whole year,would be a shame if they are ruining it,i just saw dump loads of sand in the middle of the beach on the cam,didnt know what they were doing
