What are your thoughts on their boards? Years ago I had one with glasses in fins and I swear it was one of the best boards I have ever owned. Things have changed and I haven't owned one in quite a while. Looking at a Generator

I dig mine, don't surf it much anymore because of new boards but it's a winner. 6'10" FunFish, Blue with black logo, double concave, pulled in swallow tail, shaped by Mke Daniel.

I've had a couple WRVs - loved them both. They were both shaped by Bob Yinger who shapes the Generators.

I've had two different WRV boards, loved them both. Right now my favorite is a 3-fin 6'2 Yinger shape. Has fuller rails and a single concave, works pretty nice in most east coast conditions, including steep OBX surf, as well as on the west coast.

Ive never owned one but my buddy almost never rides anything else. He's got a 5'10" rockfish and swears by it.

Mike Doyle shapes for them. I've had 5, from 6'10" to 7'6" and all were fast and maneuverable. If you can find one with a "hull bottom" get it. He was trying to get me on a 9+ board, but it wouldn't fit in my work truck.

Just sold a Mike Daniels fun fish 6'8" epoxy board with the flexlite technology. It was my sons board. It was fast and very maneuverable super light. He rode it as a quad. Good thing is they really hold their value. Got really good money for it! He has progressed to a little smaller board now so he had to sell it to fund the new board.

Z- funny you bring this up. I am eyeing the Slayer (6'3") to travel with (Also looking at the Pro Geek/Bulkley...thanks to JTS' recommendation). The Generator seems like a great shape for EC fun to good surf...one of my best bros rides one now and he is surfing really good on it. He is 175ish and got the 6'0"...he wishes he got 5'10" but I think he is surfing it very well. 6'0" feels good to me (did not ride) and I'm 185ish.

Jay, I am 185 and I am looking at a 5'10". I do like the Slayer, too. There is a guy on CL who has one for sale near me, he wants $350 for it. He has had it on there for months and no sale. LOL I tried to offer him $300 and he wouldn't take it. It's a 6'2'

yea I usually float around 190+...been trying to eat better Lol. Trying to get down to 180. I can already tell (especially on my 5'11") a difference in feel, mainly when paddling.

Z- I just checked CR...$350 seems like a good deal if it is clean/no dings....very different set up from Generator at 5'10" though (he probably spent $40 on the stomp pad).

Yeah, liters are right and the board is clean, I'm just being cheap. LOL And if you have a board on there for several months and it doesn't sell, lower it! HA HA Then I would buy it. Yeah, its def a different set up than the Generator, I would use it as a step up. I do like the round tail, too
