No. But they look sweet. Of course I am intrigued with the bamboo/hemp fins. Go Green!

Do they have anything for the 55-63F water temp range? I'm looking for something for November, that wouldn't drag me down beyond 1.88x(10^-6) per m^2/s^-1... 1.08x(the same) is too loose feeling too... So anywhere in that range please

if they're finished better than Futures, I'm in. Been getting some pretty nasty looking stuff from Futures lately.

I think he is talking about the base that inserts into the board being rough. Maybe?

oh... yeah i had to sand mine down a little so they would fit. left them snug, but at least they fit.
i thought maybe he's referring to the surface of the actual fin, in which case i think i'd also take some 600 grit to it and show it who's bawss.

The base, I would sand a little. Actually had a set of WCT's and I had to sand lightly, but if the actual fin was rough, I would return those suckers. I like the 600 grit bawss. LOL

actually the bases have been fine. My last couple sets of Futures had stuff like fvcked up looking honeycomb, warped fin tips, honeycomb in different positions from fin to fin, side fins weighing different from each other, air-gaps from the fin's leading edge to the board, differences in leading edge sharpness on each fin, etc...finishing flaws that were relatively non-existant a few years ago. Their QC has really gone downhill in the past year.

Damn! Yeah, 600 grit will not fix that. Did you contact Future?

I'm thinking about my next trip to CR...the water is so warm. Will I even need fins Toweli?

The first flawed set (bought 2 months ago) had a center fin with the tip so warped, it was blatantly obvious (QC just said "fvck you, costumer" on that one). I thought about contacting Futures about it, but then decided I'd just return them and hope the next set was acceptable...it wasn't.

The next set had honeycomb that looked like someone stomped on it before glassing it in the fin (and other flaws).

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned the second set, hoping for better...but I just got the last set and they have the fins weighing different (and other flaws). Three strikes and I'm forced to complain to Future...unfortunately, they're just going to offer me a warranty set and, judging by the last three, they're also going to be fvcked up.

not at $100 a pop. Only real solution is to go to a brick & mortar shop and inspect each fin before buying.
