    Don,

Yup, Fall is the perfect time for Baja but Winter can be excellent as well. And, there are enough spots where you can choose to surf with or without others.

If you're interested, PM me and I can guide you onto some great spots within a 2 hour drive from San Diego, for all appropriate conditions.

Don't let the season deter you from making a trip like this. I guarantee it will better than the EC.

That was awesome! Hahahahaha but, this is a rented apartment so I'm gonna go with a less exhausting method.

Thanks man. Thanks. I was gonna borrow that...

RE: the new hole in your wall

Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and purchase the wall repair patch kit, which is a thin metal plate covered with a sheer mesh screen. Cover the hole with the plate, then skim over it lightly with drywall joint compound. When dry, sand smooth and flush.

Then, purchase a can of Homex Spray Texture. Match the nozzle to your texture. Paint when dry.

    Easy peasy.

Jeez, is this for real.....how old are you dooood? If this were a kid, maybe 14, maybe, just maybe workable. Several weeks of grounding along with paying for the repairs.

Seriously, who would be ok with this if their kid went nuts & smashed in a wall just because the kid couldn't go on a trip? Talk about a need for growing up. Dang....the immigrants aren't the problem, Donald J, it's spoiled-rotten gringo Americans.

    You're not breeding, I hope?

Yank, no ****! You don't know me or what I do for a living. So if this is a trip I've been doing every three years and made plans and reservations. I had this time put in for over a year... Yea, I feel screwed. I'm dealing with it. I didn't quit my job I put a hole in the wall out of frustration and did not make a spectacle of myself I front of others. Im trying to understand myself and the things I need to change but don't belittle me with your own self righteous attitude. over it. Pissed and disappointed is a way of life as you are aware.
    PEACE

Ok I hear ya Don. But it ain't self-righteous, cat. Shiiiit happens. Man up. Deal. Towelie is gonna start punching walls now when he can't surf 23' Belmar pier shottts, and you're not the role model that will help him.

I think a man belittles himself when he loses his shiiiit & punches out drywall. My own humble opinion though.

I feel your pain. I do. Why.....?
I have cxld so many, many trips over the years. Always due to employee mis-fires necessitating my presence in the company. It's just part of the territory; that's the only way to look at it without going insane.

I hope you make another surf trek & soon. Leave the drywall alone & pull up the travel websites instead.

Fair enough and truce. Let's just say that I am old enough to know better and there was a time many years ago it would have been the bosses head going through the wall, not my fist. I was embarrassed with myself and it's been a long time since that side of me has come out. I don't like it.
I realize what needs to be done in the work place and it's positions therein, respect it even. But there are times when I don't feel the feeling is mutual. I have worked through many holidays and weekends to make "ends meet".
That's the way it is. I know there will be other trips and maybe for some reason I wasn't meant to go this time. After the fact I realize this...again. More life experiences to draw from. That's all!
And yes, I am going to fix the hole.

my post was meant to be funny by over emphasizing my method which ts fundamentally sound, however u r correct that i did not qualify the local of the project, my method works on the smooth drywall finish of the northeast good ol USA. whilst spray texture and more commonly" knockdown" finishes most often occupy the Spanish architectural styles and influences of Florida, California and other southern states.

I'm guessing ur not voting for Trump.

Hiring Mexicans to do what every-man should be able to do makes ol Donald mad.

Imagine if Mexicans start making surfboards? they would have small steering wheels and go really slow because the think the cops won't notice them when there are 12 of them in the back seat. And what about the leaf blower where will they put that fricken leaf blower? How will they wake u up in the morning if their leaf blower is wet? They will all be out of work without the leaf blower!

If you went to Baja right now, you would be in the path of a hurricane. Plane would not land there.
Open another window of time to go. Your first one was closed anyway, by nature, not by your work.
    C'est la vie, mon ami!!

Thanks Bub, Actually, I'm having a good day beside the fact I still feel let down.
I'm in a pretty good mood. It takes a lot to set me off and Yankee is definitely a character to recon with but I can handle myself. Just a great disappointment for something I always look forward to and and worked hard long hours to get. Just wanted to share my story.
On another note this hurricane may have wiped out my plans anyway. It's going off! Get some for me PC!
