NYC. For the city that never sleeps it a very boring place these days.
Harlem and the SoBronx are pretty cool.
    Wear your Reb shirt.

If Metard is looking for a family place, then yea, come to Boston
NYC still has some of the best looking girls on the EC though but that's not a family oriented activity.

Hope you and you fam have a great and exciting stay MT! Seriously!

If you do the High Line, stop by the Chelsea Market. There are some seriously good restaurants and food stands in there.

Last time I went, I was with my Korean girlfriend, and she took me to Korea town. That place is awesome, its only one street, and everything is really nice (think the opposite of China Town). Some amazing Korean food, and its right under the Empire State building

Don't take taxis. The subway system is cheap, and really efficient.

For me, New York is all about picking a neighborhood, and just taking a stroll in it. If, I see a bar, or something that looks good, I'll stop in and see whats up.

Check out some museums, and pretty much just avoid midtown all together.

Also, realize that your gonna be walking, ALOT.

Central park is worth it. South Side to see all the tall buildings, as well as the lake on the Upper East side (really pretty view of the Upper West side).

I'm doing something I never do right now, and just holding something. I told y'all I was looking for that China play, and I've been holding BABA for about 2 weeks. Chinese markets are finally bouncing back from that crash. When it really starts to take off, its gonna go like a rocket!

Also holding LABU (3x Biotech etf). That Biotech crash was wayyyyyy overdone. Bought at 16ish, and looking to sell at 40 early next year. I think its gonna happen too!

I'm complacent: been collecting 12% divs on $2 mln with NLY for several yrs. Don't much care what valuation brings; bring me the 12%, life stays decent. Got a bit into AGNC, too. Also HP - - 95 yres & going strong, nicely priced after the (overdone) petro cratering with a decent div.

Also bot into trash (WM), fuel (COP) & war (LMT). Y'know....basic Americana.

I like your thinking - - stay the course, stay the course. Careful with China.

The guy who writes the once-in-awhile financial column in The New Yorker did a nice piece recently on why China doesn't matter. Worth reading, methinks.

What are you drinking, Don? Is it that bad? Just tell your boss your new dates for your surf trek & book it.
