"As of 7:00 pm EST Thu Nov 5 2015 ... A large area of cloudiness and showers near the Leeward Islands extending eastward for several hundred miles is associated with the interaction of an upper-level trough and a tropical wave. Although upper-level winds are forecast to be too strong for development over the next couple of days, heavy rain is possible in the Leeward Islands while the system moves through the area. By late in the weekend, when the system is forecast to be near or north of Puerto Rico, environmental conditions are forecast to become more favorable, and some development of the disturbance is possible early next week while it moves northwestward. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent"
Really good work here, Betty. You may have missed your calling. Seriously. WeatherChannel can't hold a candle to our Betty

As of 7:00 pm EST Fri Nov 6 2015 ... A large area of cloudiness and showers extending from the eastern Caribbean Sea across the Lesser Antilles into the Atlantic is associated with the interaction of an upper-level trough and a west-northwestward moving tropical wave. Development, if any, during the next day or two should be slow to occur. However, environmental conditions are expected to become more favorable by early next week, when the system is forecast to be near Hispaniola or the southeastern Bahamas. Regardless of development, locally heavy rains are possible over the Lesser Antilles, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Hispaniola during the next few days. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...medium.. 40 percent
I have no problem if you set yourself up for disappointment; it's when you set ME up for the same.......
Domo arigato Betty! Looks like we'll have some swell, but surprise surprise, it will blow onshore the whole time...
