I saw a teammate turn & walk right into a warmup swing that a guy did with a 32 oz Easton bat. Adios teef. No concussion though.

Another guy, another year, was racing straight into the outfield from 2b position to catch a pop-up, and his older, linebacker size speed burner brother, playing CF, was racing straight in; 2nd baseman never heard his brother calling him off; poor guy got hit full stride at speed directly in the face by older bro's shoulder.

Lost all his front teef upper & lower. Coaches had to hold the kid face down until the ambulance arrived 'cause the bleeding was so heavy. Older bro literally picked 2 of his brother's teef out of his shoulder. No concussion though. Both brothers were tremendous athletes.

Ruined the kid's life. He couldn't eat proper food, got really fat from all the sugary processed crap, abandoned athletics, got into juice/drugs. Pay attention, bubonic plague.
You just never know how Life is going to turn.

Depends what they run into, Einstein.

Sounds like you treat your kid, and maybe your ms potato head wife, like the latex dummy in chucka-boo-boo's barn, smacking the shiiite outta their lil noggins & telling them to tough it out.

You all are thinking it, there I just said it: what a tool.

Damn. I wonder if good dental health coverage would have changed the direction of his life. When I'm in a developing country, and someone pulls over to catch a stray goat for dinner, it always blows my mind that they have better teeth than my US neighbors.

'Ms. Potato Head wife' .... HA. Damn Yankee you still got it.

Always get your head checked out boys. Trust me, it all adds up ... my cousin killed himself while experiencing post -concussion syndrome. He was doing pretty well otherwise.

Nope. Well, only up to high school, when the Euros schooled me in the sport, but wtf does that count as. Exactly. Tiddly winks.

No, for me it was lacrosse, boxing, baseball, fastpitch, hoops, all at highly competitive levels. So roll out your yoga mat, don your spandex fruit gear & tell me how you got your concussions, francine.

LOL Well seems like we are not so different after all Yankee... Football(QB and Inside Linebacker back when QB's were not guarded and played BOTH WAYS not just one way like today...), Hockey(Defenseman),Boxing, Kick boxing( when it was full contact not when it was the ***gy cardio kickboxing crap), Judo trained with one of the best in the country(and still is!!) Pedro's back when Jimmys Dad ran it... Ronda Rousey was my daughters first instructor at Pedros years ago.. funny to see how she looked then compared to now, great instructor...

A friend of mine almost died from a subdermal hematoma this past winter. He hit his head on a rock playing football, thought nothing of it, and then a month later, on Xmas day, he arrives at a friend's house after dropping his mother off and can't remember anything of the last hour he was driving. He had been feeling woozy and tired for a few weeks but figured it was just a cold. Turned out it was blood pooling on his brain. He went in for surgery to release the pressure. Then two months of recovery where he couldn't drive or lift anything or bend down. And then another couple of months of taking it easy. So ya getting a scan might not be a bad idea. At least keep it in mind.

I am definitely just taking it easy and not doing anything crazy until the small headaches go away. I haven't felt nauseous or woozy or dizzy so far so that's a plus. If my headaches get worse or I notice the dizziness I'm goin in right away . I really do appreciate all the advice though guys
