nat, you mentioned he shaped a 6'9 for you. Do you find yourself riding that one more often than your longer board? I'm not sure if I should go any shorter than that now, since I've yet to go on a surf trip anywhere else. I'd like to test out some shorter boards before I commit, is there a place around that's pretty good at renting out some good boards?
I do. I have the 6'9" custom, it's my go to board. I use the 7' when the waves are a little smaller and I have a 9' single fin I use when it's really small or really disorganized. I am pretty sure there is a couple of places to rent from. The one by the pleasure pier only has soft tops but there is another one further down that has regular boards. I think it's like 10$ an hour. At least that's what it was when I was renting several years ago.
how much did they cut off that hammer Hebrew ?? do you like your sheep on flatbread with onions and hummus o hh
By having your religion in your user name, does that mean your are a radical? Idc what your religion is just so long as your not preaching and telling us how your way is the righteous way. Are you a converted wayne? Will you be touring the local yeshivas?
Never thought of that.... Hmmmmm Could be a sleeper cell operating right here on SI. Canadians r way worse. They're always pushing their mapleleaf ideals and agendas on others. So annoying!!
I'm unoriginal; I took the name from a Hannukah movie that was on Comedy Central a long time ago. I keep it kosher as much as I can, but not on the strict Orthodox diet where I can't have cheese on a burger. I enjoy my bagels occasionally, but that really is just stereotyping the sh** out of my name, so strike that. I haven't been to temple in a really long time, so I don't know where that leaves me. A floater? Maybe?
I'm going to go by on Monday at some point to talk to him. How far did you go with customizing your board?
We took my 6'3" I had at the time and my 7' and talked about what I liked and didn't like about both. I chose the color scheme and we went with a heavier cloth because I felt like heavier would be better in our waves. He gave me some options about the shape and the width, Along with what I was looking for in length. I wanted shorter than my 7 but not as short as the 6'3". Pretty much everything, along with my weight and height. The board rides amazing. I would recommend that anyone do it. I love it!
Yes, but their maple syrup has no equal; makes vermont taste like, like....well....bernie sanders....yuch
