    More details, Blaster.

Give us some anecdotes of your trip.

    You see Erock?

Truck, I think Jenelle Evans is up in NYC ??

Oh shoot, maybe Metard is Jenelle's new beau.

Oh man, I'd be so jealous.

C'mon Blasters, please blow up some spots for me. I spent 6 months in Folly, and I never saw IOP go off...not even one single day. What's up with that

That's where the cool kids play.

Dude, I lived on E. Ashley and surfed that joint on the reg when it was breaking. Stayed thru fall and winter.

Tried to explore some other spots like IOP but never saw it breaking. Just sayin'

Oh so you surfed the best spot on the east then.

    Straight.

Well, besides Ruggles and New Smyrna.

Well, as Bradly Nowell said, " Ima gonna take that walk...."

    But no 40 0z.

Two 1 & 1/2 oz of Russian refreshment.

Dang, I need to get some green, so I'll be drinking less-than-Smirnoff quality today. And that sucks. Please Wayne, let my boy spot me a dub today. I owe him money. Just have what I owe him.

Tomar's Discount Liquor store. I'm sponsored by them, but already got my November stash. That was gone, like, awhile ago. You know what it is that I be sayin'?

    Guap given, crackers.

Barry or Kidrock do you guys know what "guap" is?

    haha, I guess so dude.

Personally, I thought OCMD and Hatteras were better...but it was a lot of fun. I'd really like to get a couple of those Delaware spots firing...I'd love to surf those whompers in knee-high water.

Love to surf Ruggles one day. Got my eye on some breaks in NH if I ever get up that way.

The OBX has been doing it this fall.

    Top ten east coast places:

    1. Outer Banks - yeah, I reckon so.

    2. New Jersey - just below OBX for consistency. Has more variety. Has them knee-deep shore breaks and outside bars and everything in between. We got more jetties than all y'all. Got a few piers, too.

    3. New Hampshire - Points with thump and it's all New Englandy and sh!t.

    4. Rhode Island - They get swell, then they have options. All New Englandy and sh!t there too

    5. New York - Esconlido to Montuak - they are holding. Check out the spot in front of Paul Simon's house. Tell him Swellinfo sent you.

    6. Florida - Ok, NSB here you go. Gets some props for providing some of the east's most interesting surf at certain spots on big Norths.

    7. Virgina Beach, Va if you have a boat on a year to remember, meaning tons of solid swell. I'm not talking aboot First Street.

    8. Maryland - it's like New Jersey Light - on land and in the water. Ok, I'll make that Maryland/Delaware. There you go.

    9. Massachusetts - Like swells half-the-size but at primo quality. Who would have ever fought that they'd be surfing in Lynn? Cape Cod can provide wooly macho conditions. And that's where the sharks are at. The big ones. The big white ones.

    10. Maine - Moose and a unknown northern section lower the placement of Maine.

Good tread Bill. No Georgia or Charleston though?

Btw, there are more public housing kids splashing around in the fire hydrants of Lynn than the waves. But alas, there is surf in the city of sin.

On a surf map, can we really say No. Jerz = So. Jerz?

You picked the wrong spots or had extremely bad luck. IOP has been pretty damn good this fall. I have seen Sullivan's look like Folly in just the last couple months. It is all about knowing the spots and which one works during each swell.

I laugh when people hate on IOP. Any time the Washout is getting something decent, I can name a few spots on IOP that are just as good. Then again, I kinda like that only Folly gets the attention. That is a good reason why there are only 4-5 people surfing the decent breaks on IOP.

did you get to surf CB? There were peaks to be had for 6 plus miles.... the problem was finding beach... at low tide my "easy access" spot was still crashing on rocks.

I agree that Charleston is a cooler town, but Wilm/WB def has better surf. Sounds like you came a few days early. Great surf all long weekend.
