People - Since 2014 Mexican immigration to US has been net zero. I think now more Mexicans are leaving than arriving here. Don't believe the hype. I don't know what the US's prob. is, but I don't think it's Mexicans or something a wall is going fix. Unless you're talking about a wall of water.

Go down to the border and talk to an actual Border Patrol Agent. Or sit on a hilltop at dusk and watch what happens. I have friends in the Patrol and they are very, very busy down there. And, NOT with "unaccompanied children" and all this other crap that the media is feeding the American public.

Is someone "...incapable of lucid independent thought", just because someone else's opinions aren't in line with your own? Just because someone has a different opinion than your own, does that make their opinion "shameless drivel"?

How does your particular opinion not fall under the broad brush of "incessant parroting"? I'm willing to bet you a cool million, right now, that Barry, Sea Ape and Stinkbug probably believe that your posts fall under "incessant parroting".

But in keeping with the original post and your primary thought: yes, a tragedy has occurred and we should all give them our respect and keep them in our prayers. But, Mexico was part of the post...and, like it or not, Mexico has some very real and deep-seated problems which did directly cause this problem. And, like it or not, people will have differing opinions on Mexico as a country, as well as their citizenry.

We all have to swallow the bitter pill sometime. Too bad that it's not a perfect world, where we can all agree on everything.
