Yeah, unfortunately... I don't think I've ever really given her the chance to fully dry out.

On a side note, but directly related, those air pockets under the glass been filling with water makin her real heavy. Plugged em up with some wax like and surfboard respecting surfer.. Good to go.

P.s. i dont know that i ever got a real solid answer out of that thread lol

p.p.s. Isn't it hilarious to look back at sh1t frost said before we found out he couldn't swim?

True that. Gotta admit though, glass ons are definitely prettier on any shape. Something about a continuous perfect gel coat completely enveloping the whole craft. No stops and starts on the surface, no screws, bolts, boxes, holes, plugs, rubber traction or ridiculous camera mounts. Just slickness. F*** the accessories, just wax, me and her ideally. No one to blame for that badly timed turn or pearl dive but me. Just yesterday my pal tells me how he wished he had not used his yadda yadda fins for that session and how he would not have slid out if he had his yippity do-da set in. Yeah, right... Simplicity and sublimity are what gets me stoked on a board & glassed on skegs sure might help in that regard. Just can't stack 'em, which may be a good thing.

you ride the board fin-side down, so it doesn't matter what it looks like ;)

    ------
A famous shaper said something like " nearly 50% of the wetted surface of your board is fin."

Fins matter and a swap can make a huge difference if you care to try new things. If you don't ,that's totally cool.We all have to do what makes us happy...
    I've done glass-ons for many a moon.
But no bueno if I have great board I can't travel with. That alone outweighs any perceived advantage.
