Man, I'd deffo celebrate with a nice 8 ball...but first thing would be my one day notice at work. Buy some land, pay off all da fam's houses, raise some goats, travel, fund some type of land preservation activities.

 

I'd add travel, surf and fish to the first guys response. lol

Make sure the family was taken care of.<That didn't sound right. I mean in a good way. I can't fathom what it would be like to not have to worry about money!

 

Take care of the rents first. Then travel, surf, fish. DO NOT let extended family know I won!

 

My thought on the family is to give my siblings a one time chunk and tell them to disperse it as they see fit in their tribe. If you win Zero don't forget your uncle Z. Goode Lucke.

 

i'd give a big old middle finger to the LAW. i'd shop at Whole Foods exclusively...even for staple items because i don't give a fook. i would buy a midget to wax my boards.

With that type of scratch im not sure what i would do. Def take cares of all fams and a few good friends. Travel the rest of my life. Keep my meager little place on LI as home base. Sail the world maybe or at least fund the trip and meet the boatat its ports. Wouldnt want to spend too much time out at sea.

 

give the guy who sold me the ticket a million. Buy a couple houses in Hawaii, California, pay off my house, take care of my family. Maybe buy a new truck and then invest the rest. Probably wouldn't quit my job for at least a year. Then spend the rest of my life traveling, surfing, and generally doing whatever the hell I want.

I got a bud who's announced he's getting married a couple weeks ago and all the women were all excited and congradulating him and me and my other buds (who are married too) were like oh, okay? ah, that's.... good? I guess? Congradulations???sorta?

Start a foundation to help sick kids and make a huge donation. Pay Taxes. Live off the income. Surf. Take care of those in need around me. Surf some more.

 

I'm with JayD on this.

I'd retire.. then look to identify needs in the community and develop/organize (or join with those already doing a good work). Develop/teach job training programs (i.e., "teach a man to fish", etc.). Mentor young people, especially those w/o role models.

Take care of family.

Definitely would surf more, do some travel, liquidate/eliminate the "honey-do" list (and help employment/the economy at the same time) upgrade the homestead (move very close to a good break, and also acquire a pad further south for thawing out).

Definitely surf and stay active and positively involved. Full-time job currently limits all these, but having time and resources would be a a real blessing I'd hope to be able use to share and make more of a difference in my sphere of influence.

 

I'd set side a few million to hire hit men and knock off anybody I don't like.
Buy a brothel in Paris, Reno, Rome. Maybe one in Tokyo, and Buenos Aires.
And pay a few bucks to have this site closed down. And other surf sites as well.
