What sucks is back in DE I was right on the assowoman and a mile from the beach. Now it's a 40-minute drive but I'm working on a place for February. Definitely miss the "surfs flat so I'll do something on the bay trade-off" though.

Why do they call it tres palmas, when clearly there are 6 palms.

The PRs are notoriously bad with apostrophes. It is actually Tre's palmas. He lives on the hill across the street.

It has been called Tres Palmas since at least 1965. Palm trees die, and others take their place.
    Simple botany, sigmund.

    The true waterman's approach ^^

Know of several Berlin watermen who roll with whatever the ocean / bay provides.

    Not true moron.

Talk to Tre, he'll tell you. He's basically the coconut version of Johnny Appleseed. He introduced coconuts to the islands years ago. He used to go by El Coco Loco.

227 miles to my condo... then 50 yards to a great break. I get there at least one long weekend a month... Enough to keep me from taking uncle two barrels advice and killing myself but barely enough to keep my sanity when I'm watching it fire on the cam right in front of my place. In three years and five months it will be always 50 yards. Then looking @ a second place in Ecuador.
Not bragging and certainly not rich... Just frugal! And older... Been real busy and got some good surf in over Christmas and New Year's. Hope everybody got/gets some water time!
