That time o year. I still can't surf but doc ok'd skateboarding and snowborting so that is what I've been up to. Also I found a pair of midget skis that are fun as fock. Anyone else been doing any snow related stuff? In da dunes
Only "après-ski" with the ladies. You can have the snow. But we are glad you are going to the hills--we don't need any more kooks in the water.....<grin>.
heading to vermont this weekend to check out uvm and st. mikes. gonna be hittin' up smugglers notch while i'm not lookin' at the schoolz. pics forthcoming
no but here is one of me surfing... i went on a quest to find a multitude of winter ski pics on this computer and came up with nothing. they're on my old dying mac and i don't have the capacity to turn it on and get it going.
my old stomping ground. st. mikes is very expensive. uvm is badarse. btv is awesome in general but you're 4 hours from hashtagsaltlife. smuggs is a family spot. sugarbush has good discounts for college kids, as does bolton.
Mt. Shasta backcountry, CA. Adirondacks, def Algonquin summit. Making my way up the 1000 snow/ice wall, Gothics in the Adirondacks.
yeah man i love the burlington area. all schools in vermont are expensive, but i'm hoping to get some kind of merit scholarship with a really really good essay and my gpa. it does suck how i'll be super far from the ocean but snowboarding should definitely keep me occupied. if i go to school over there i wanna start hikin' and hit some side/backcountry.
I just recently returned home from a mid-week at Sugarbush (Vermont) It's been a pretty dismal year for snow but we lucked into a couple decent flurries during our stay. A few pics from our trip:
