But actually, Billabong bought Xcel a few years back, so I would guess they will buy Quicksilver as well as they try to monopolize the wetsuit business. Which will great because then "work refusers" won't be able to surf because wet suits will be $1-2000. Cool, huh??

Crazy how badly Quiksilver ****ed up with the Rossignol purchase then sale. Bought for $560m, sold for $50m. Oops.

Good for the folks @ Rossignol! When I really think about it though, the money would be awesome, but if you put your life's work into a company and sell, does it sting to see some corporate giant ruin the good name you created?

 

Must be moron surfers running the business, or, more likely, ruining the business!! hahahahahaha!!

 

They also sold off Cleveland Golf for $133 mil, which was part of the Rossignol purchase. So they really sold for $188 mil, not $50... Still a sh!tty deal, but not as bad

 

Latest update is that the Eddie is a go.
