Heaviest wave in NJ

    Wow that is a thick lip. Don't see many of those waves on the east coast often. I wonder if anyone has other pics for the east coast that match that lip.

    Looks heavy, and a recipe for a proper azz beating, BUT, there's barely a paddle to surf this spot. Am I wrong? If you were battling currents in open water and there was a wide-open playing field to get a wave like this, it would be 2x as heavy. Regardless, that is a mutant wave by any standards and props to the guy getting pitted.

    Thats a heavy lip for sure. Nothing on the EC should ever be compared to pipe.

    19th ave Belmar on an East swell at low tide. all the left hand toobs you can stand, BRAHHH. plus, if the wind is blowing offshore, and it's surfing season (memorial day to labor day) you can smell the cologne and hear the sweet beats of D'Jais across the street. get it!

    Wave size is smaller but that lip is a thick beast.
