Never be afraid to tell the people you love how much you love them, what they mean to you, etc. As surf/boggy/whatever-bort riders, I think we all have more passion for life than the rest of the dullards out there, so I probly don't need to say this...but don't get caught up in the worry of finances and all that crap. I was caught up worrying to much, and forced to realize that last week. Put in an honest days work and the rest will come together, enjoy life and the people you share it with, and get waves when you can. ...that was the advise part
Herrrrrrmmmmmannnnnooo! Been waiting for this announcement - - you're a man not afeared to travel life's roads, paved & unpaved. With your good soul as the framework, your daughter will be, truly, a fortunate girl. Tremendous news - - best wishes to the four of you as you move together into the sunrise.
Congrats! I've got three of me own, my sons got me into surfborting and so in around aboot way introduced me to youse guyz... and now I got grandkids I get to the beach as much as possible, and the wheel of life spins on... From what I've "seen" of you, you'll be a good Daddy!
Congrats. I pray it will be a joyous milestone and mark a wondrous next phase of the journey. It was for me. Blessings!
Congrats Homey. Your daughter will be proud to call you papa. If not for my 3 boys I'd be dead, straight up. It's nice to know that your army of miniature Bens can swim!
Congratulations to you both! Your life is now forever changed Advice for the mom: SLEEP WHEN THE BABY IS SLEEPING, to avoid post partum Blues. Was the best advice I got as a new mom. They tell you about the stretch marks, the lack of sleep the first year, but they don't tell you that for the rest of your life your heart is in your mouth. The fun, excitement and worry never goes away. And for you Sheldonne, be prepared for the fact that you will start tearing up listening to country songs about parenting like Alan Jacksons Remember When, or Chesneys There goes my Life-- hallmark ads and movies about Parenting will bring you to your knees. Daughters are so wonderful!
Betty, we appreciate the heads up, on SS behalf. Buoys, get ready, the Scene may be posting up youtubage of "Butterfly Kisses" and the like ... j/k
Thank you Betty! Funny thing is I got a little emotional when I found the lullaby Grateful Dead covers. I will pass that advise along to me lady.
Congrats senor Seldom. Enjoy the ride. By your posts on the forumme, I'm sure you'll raise a hell of a lil' Seen. You've started out right with the salt water baptism. You'll have a blast getting to ride waves with you little girl.
Thank ye sir, I honestly can't wait to ride our first wave with the little one on my back. I'm gonna encourage whatever activities she's interested in, but obviously hope she loves the water...but I'm thinking she will, who wouldn't right?
Awww yea! Congrats Seldom! One of the best things my parents did for me as a youngin was teach me how to swim. Get the lil girl some propere swim lessons, it will serve her well in the skurf when she's older. Also take her to the beach as soon as possible, and show her the magic of waves.
