duuude...a true soul surfer doesn't paddle out with the crowd! True soul surfing means ignoring the rules about posting online.

I think of soul surfing as the deeper meaning we get from the act of surfing.

For many of us, the physical part of riding waves is only the surface... the part we do that others see, that is our interaction with the physical world. But there's the spiritual part... the deeper meaning of surfing... that others don't see, that helps us learn about ourselves and our place in the physical world. For me, that place is a connectedness that's whole and complete... a oneness that transcends the physical.

I think LBcrew did a great job explaining the meaning ("for many of us" as he put it....which you obviously are not a part of).

When I think of soul surfing- I think of your surfing picturing how your feeling- your mood and emotions on that certain day.

But what do I know... Apparently that all died long ago... And I'm a moron.

Ok- since soul surfing is dead- who are we gonna vote in for HOTY for 2015??

    Yes to all three!!!
Soul surfers do not use computer surf sites - they surf
They don't post on forums - they surf
They do not live inland 2-3 hours away from beach--they surf, not drive.
Most importantly, they do not live and surf on the East Coast. There is no soul surf here.
So none of us are soul surfers, no matter what cute little appreciation of surfing you write here.
And if you are reading this--you most definitely NOT a "soul surfer".

True soul surfer's are invisible. You're not going to find one unless you look for one.
Lose the aggressive selfish attitude and surf.
As for negative comments shut up and surf!
