Conflicting forecasts

    Curious, how is it the chart model that you can animate in the center page is different than the text forecast which contains color coded bars for height and wind? Notice the difference on some of the forecasts for NC and SC upon when the swell peaks and arrives looking at the two models. Thursday for the chart/map, Friday for the text/bar model..Curious, what forecasting models are you using for both since they do not match up?

    --Not being a hater and am appreciative of the site, just tough to make the call sometimes when you have to plan it out.

    -Just reiiterates, ya never know sometimes.

    The Swellinfo text forecasts are updated twice per day, while the maps are update 4 times per day.

    This can cause some changes between the forecast and maps, but as soon as the new forecast is released it will coincide.
