I never understood the team concept in NASCAR racing.

No interest in team sports......only individual type sports or sports that involve one on one competition. Rarely watch sports on TV. I enjoy an occasional NHL or minor league hockey game.

 

As a kid we use to go to the Summerville Speedway. It was a dirt track. Never went to another race once they paved it. I don't get NASCAR. Had a room mate who would tape a race and watch it over and over. To each their own.

 

Same with me. I'd rather be playing one that couching and watching one.....

nitro circus is quality tv......crazy how they are still pushing the limits.....it seems like at some point you just cant go any higher or do a triple flip on a dirtbike but those guys do......NFL is about the only sport I can watch in the regular season......Remember when Tiger was in contention like every other weekend?? I would be glued to the couch. Golf is pretty much unwatchable at this point even thought the talent level across the board is greater than its ever been.

 

I'm a Panthers fan in the NFC but a Raider's fan since I was a kid, I feel and share your pain, brothers. But we're finally moving forward.

NHL is my fav, Hurricanes are my team. We've finally got a good young core, coach, and system (I'm perfectly fine with ripping off the Red Wings model).
UFC - no real preference. I like watching good technical fights between elite fighters, as long as they aren't point fighting. Looking at you Mr. "Dominator".
NFL - Panthers and Raiders
WSL - don't really care who wins, as long as it isn't Medina, just like to see good comps on good waves. If I had to pick, I'd say Owen was one of my favs. MF'er charges like a gawdamn viking. That and seeing Kelly do things no human should be able to get away with.
Used to be a huge bball fan but IDGAF anymore. In the NCAA, the one and done, the corruption, and the NCAA turning a blind eye killed it for me. NBA just turned into too much street thug smack talk one-on-one crap.
College football - still watch NC State, but see my previous comments about the NCAA...
Other than that a hodgepodge of snowboarding, nitro circus, stuff like that.

TBH though, I really don't watch much of TV in general, so I miss a lot of games and such. Did catch the last part of the 3rd and OT b\t the Canes and Bruins last night, good hockey game.

 

Lots of good signings lately, hope they can take the division this year!

 

I think they are still a year out, but yeah things are moving in the right direction...FINALLY.
