Seems like every sport/activity these days is redonkoulis with the amount of equipment, clothing, accessory. I went in to the new snazzy Feild and Stream store in N. Chuck a few weeks ago and was blown at how much crap there was and how much it cost. Seems some peeps can't hunt, fish or camp out with out without spending enough to eat at five star resteraunts or stay at the Ritz. Things you need to hunt: Weapon, ammo, knife clothes (jeans, shirt jacket some times) Things you need to fish: A fishing pole, knife, bait, clothes(see above) Things you need to camp: Tent, fire, knife, clothes(see above and maybe optional depending where you camp) Things you need to Jog/run: shoes, shorts (knife depending on your hood) Things you need to surf: wax, board, shorts and preferably some waves.

I haven't been at this surf bort riding thing as long as some veterans here so I've got a question. Can somebody give me some pointers on how to quickly spot who is wearing the current stylee and who has got last years fashionne? I'd like to be able to tell at a glance who is or is not hip in the same way that Brad Shiithead can spot a poorly tied leash string from across the beach. Thanks.
bright neon yellows, oranges and fluorescent greens are on the way out....more subtle colors are in,,greys, black, deep blues, green
what about stripes i see Board Shorts with stripes all the time and they look great as well i was wondering if Stripes are in this summer i do a great job looking great all the time and i want to keep that up because more people are watching me and I like that.
lol My wife still has a pair of Jamz from 20? years ago. Apparently if you don't have a yeti cooler you are not hip. 300.00 dolla cooler to keep your Bud cold.
No way man not me I did see some dude at Sullivan's island last year rocking one .. Naw I'm good on shorts snagged some last year models at 1/2 price on sale and my old ones are still function able
Exactly. At my local, you'll never recognize who surfs. Almost everyone looks like a welder, logger or fisherman. The only people that dress like "surfers" around here are the ones that drive 3+ hours to surf here, with the most expensive wetsuites and LibTech boards...then wade around in the shorebreak.
Glad you finally learnt. Nothing wrong with new trunks, just saying you sound like a g@y starting a tread aboot them. Awesome!!!!!!!
