Jimmy Carter expelled Iranians from the country during the extended hostage crisis that was caused by the Islamic takeover of the U.S. embassy in Tehran.

In fact, Carter did much more in 1979 — he signed an Executive Order allowing his deputies to make 50,000 Iranian students then living in the United States report to an immigration office.

Didn't see or hear of any riots then. Seeing how PC culture has infected our populice, it's safe to say it'd be the PCs would be doing the rioting.

Well, fortunately my kind of people *have* been in control (the pragmatic intelligent type), and that looks to continue based on the cluster fark that is the Republican party today.

So, only liberals like yourself are "pragmatic" and "intelligent"?

So it goes without saying that you believe all conservatives are mouth-breathing window lickers, right?

So where do Independents fall into your brilliantly broad categorization?

Boy, you didn't just drink the Kool Aid, you guzzled the entire pitcher...then licked the dry empty packet when you finished.

No sir, I would have been content with a Romney presidency, almost voted for him. I could support Kasich, but Trump or Cruz? No thank you!

I respect intelligence and good ideas wherever they may be.

Be curious to know how many of the gun deaths are guns that were illegally obtained.

I have to agree on the subjugation of the Palestinian people. Our Israeli state media only shows Israel in a good light while the Palestinian people are portrayed as evil. Nothing can be further from the truth. The atrocities that Israel commits against Palestine is disgusting. The media should show coverage from both sides. The reality that no one sees on television are the weapons used by both sides. The Palestinians throw rocks or molotov cocktails. Israel uses rockets, drops bombs, gas and commits mass murder.

I don't agree with violence from either side but people need to see the truth in these so called holy Israeli people. We should just get out of the way there. We need to stop sending Israel so much money and let them fend for themselves. We have plenty of allies already. Instead we continue to support Israeli child killers and this support of Israel brings radical Islam to our doorstep. I agree with many points made here already.

    1. Close the borders to Muslims and start/continue monitoring mosques for terrorist activity.
    2. End the support of Israel and don't send US tax payer money to them.

This will greatly reduce Islamic terrorists from attacking the US. I think #2 will probably help reduce terrorist attacks more than #1.

You're linking eliminating USA aid, in its entirety, to our only ally in the middle east, as the way to reduce terrorist attacks. Uh, that's a bit of a stretch. The Muslim bombers who killed the Christians in Pakistan wanted to kill Christians. The Muslims who wiped out hundreds of Russian schoolkids wanted to kill Russian non-Muslim unbeliever schoolkids. The Muslim bombings in Belgium were simply to strike fear into everyone. Cut the aid to Israel? These people (Muslims) won't stop. Ever. Israel or no Israel.

Don't you get it? You're an unbeliever. You have to go according to Muslims. That's it. When the Muslims spout off about Israel, it's window dressing. Israel or no Israel they're coming for the unbelievers. it's their modus operandi for power. At the end of the day it's all about power.

I'd rather the USA have willing allies & proxies to assist us when the shiiiite hits the fan. Woo's doing that? Not Saudi. Not Syria. Not Egypt. Not Iran. The DIBs understand that the Muslim understands one thing: (sound of fist hitting open palm).

As well, the DIBs are also the only thing staving off the wholesale desecration of every non-Muslim holy site in Jerusalem.

As well, the atrocities are on both sides.

Appears as if I may have misjudged you. If you are truly not beholden to a single party idea and would like to see real compromise between the isles, this is a true indicator of pragmatism and intelligence.

What's happening is people are getting fed up. Most have been waiting for government / military to handle things but soon people will start taking matters into their own hands in their local areas. Things will get much worse before they get better.

Unfortunately, the US had a huge hand in the decisions that led to a formal Jewish homeland that displaced Palestinians in 1948. The fact that we have backed them with materiel, money and intelligence since then has not won us any friends in the region, to say the least.

These peoples have been warring for millennia...and for some unknown reason we have the arrogance to actually believe that we can bring peace and prosperity to the region, lol.

I fear that we've really stepped in a hot steaming pile that we may never extricate ourselves from.

Pull out now and try to cut our losses.

Hold your friends close, hold your enemies closer? Sounds like their strategy. What makes the war on terrorism so hard here at home and is they hide in plain sight posing as regular every day citizens, have families and jobs and everything, then take that money made from our economy, then funnel it back to their leaders to do damage. Whether you're the one pulling the trigger or if you're the one funding it, you're just as guilty, take it one step further, even if you don't fund it, but you are aware of it and say or do nothing, you are just as guilty. There is plenty of this going on.
