dunno, is anyone that has attacked us still upright? The al queda and ISIL leadership is like a revolving door cause they keep getting killed whenever they step outside to take a piss. The caliphate will crumble within the year, and whatever bits are left of ISIL will go underground.

Plus, the sheer notion of a government disappearing its own citizens, for any reason, is terrifying. Just look at where this has happened- Russia, China, Argentina, Chile, or Germany- it's obvious that it's a greater threat to the citizens than communism/judaism/terrorism itself.

Now, before you postulate some argument about the effectiveness of this approach, Chechnya is a region of Russia, not some foreign battleground, so again, unless you're suggesting we take over the middle east, this isn't a comparable solution (though CIA certainly has a history of paying off local actors to do precisely this, in Vietnam and elsewhere. How'd that work out?).
