HA HA HA, as a kid, we were always swimming in the lakes around my house. One lake we would go and catch bluegill, slam them on the ground to stun them and then feed them to the gator. He was about 7 feet and would come over every time we went out there. We didn't swim there. HA HA

There used to be one that big on Fripp Island. He would eat deer and the occasional tourist's dog. He would sun himself in the road. Some asshole shot him. His skull is still on exhibit.

Man that's a big mother. We got some pretty badass wildlife here!
I just don't canoe in the backwoods parts of Florida anymore. Those gators sketch me out. They're sunning themselves on logs and stuff, but they move so dang fast.

Yeah gators freak me out too. Seen some BIG mamas down in HHI. My brother lives there and we'd would go out in Sea Pines in a lil a$$ john boat fishing. F'ing gators everywhere. Done it in kayaks too. Never could relax.

His friend was the animal control guy that had to go relocate the gators when they got too close to the public. He's pulled more than a few out of the surf too.

Plus...as Blasters will verify, the bay there is a nursery for damn near every species of atlantic shark.

HHI - starved for waves and infested with sharks and gators. I'll stick to NC.

There used to be a gator that lived by the USS North Carolina in Wilmy. The tourons kept it well fed so it pretty much just hung around waiting for handouts.
