This became very interesting to me recently.

I live in a rural area. A close friend from my childhood days in San Diego came up to visit with me recently (yes, we had decent surf).

For many years, we watched as different immigrants dominated the landscape during every generation. Lately, my buddy says that the city is besieged by huge numbers of Middle Easterners, very few of which appear to be Christians (as evidenced by the Burqa-wearing women). Extremely unusual customs, dozens of members in a small household, little evidence of attempted assimilation, and an extremely strong reliance on American social subsidies...add defiant attitudes and violent encounters, and voila: Recipe For Disaster.

I just found it odd and ironic that our current administration has been saying that we would be opening the floodgates for approximately 10,000 of these people soon. Really? Looks like that door has been open for quite a while now. I'm sure that there are considerably more than 10,000 in San Diego alone.

How many city dwelling Swellies do we have out there, and can any of you confirm or testify to this?

 

Funny they choose San Diego. Why not Detroit, or Chicago?

 

i mean we COULD go the way of en-mass civil unrest... let the lootin commence! i for one - am going straight to colorado and looting the first medicinal herb dispensary i see... then probably calming down quite a bit, forgetting this whole issue and hitchhiking my way to olympic national park.. by that time i'll be probably a little low on supplies, which works out fine because there are more dispensaries to loot in washington.
