I liked it, but I am easily amused. Nice stoke, soundtrack and final sequence.

Everybody's looking at it with different eyes. I thought the clip at 43 sec was awesome. The sunrise shot, too.

Lot's of little moments that stay stuck in your head. That's what art's about...

Ill be constructive if thats what you are looking for.

First, the surfing was sub par. Shoot more, compile more footage, and make shorter edits with better surfing. Its not your fault that there are thousands and thousands of board riders that are beginners/low intermediates, just try to filter them out if you are going for a good viewing experience.

Second, Try you hand at editing to the music. Putting a handful of clips on top of any track doesn't do much for the viewer. Most editing programs will offer a slew of transitions to use, tools to slow down and speed things up, and filters to enhance color, focus, contrast etc.

Third, loosen or grease up that tri pod. smooth out the panning down the line.

Fourth, Use zoom function more. When trying to focus on the surfer, zoom in on him. Often times landscape shots drown out size and style. Pretty sunsets? ok use them for transition shots.

Fifth, if someone tells you it sucks after you stated "might be ****" dont get butt hurt. Give it another try.

In conclusion, I would say it was a typical beginner video. You dont need thousands of dollars of shooting or editing equipment, you just need to brush up on your skills.

Oh wow, a surf vid with blaster?!? I'd have to work on my stinkbug stance so I could fit in with the crew.

What software are you using? You can pretty much do everything in gopro studio you need to make a "decent" film. I'd say you need better clips, it's hard to get excited about anything less than chest high.
