This is exactly why insurance companies need to be OUT of healthcare. Choice of MD should be personal, not mandated by insurance list of contracted MDS.
The result, a free market, would reduce cost of healthcare dramatically.

They have to maintain a profit to stay in business. Why not release their profit margins and how much the CEO's make compared to other industries. Price gouging is a little sick too making many drugs too much money for people who need them. I don't believe in socialized medicine but I do believe Big Pharma has too much power. They make huge profits by raising prices on sick people and get federal funding out the ass. Hey, but you also love Goldman Sachs and all the Wall Street cronies too.

Chemo is just a money maker. I would love to see the percentages of people who lived after chemo vs dying. There doesn't seem to be enough investment in cancer when chemo brings in such huge profits. The best thing is alternative treatments with some people going to other countries because the FDA won't approve alternative approaches which are much better than chemo.

 

Glad to hear it worked for you, seriously. I'm just saying it rarely works, very rarely and depends on the cancer too. Big Pharma just doesn't seem to be working on curing it when other countries are putting out some alternative treatments with good results but the FDA won't admit them.

 

Thanks barrels wasn't ripping on ya in any way.One thing I had going for me was I was young and good shape otherwise. I knew I was gonna die (125lbs coughing blood up) if left untreated so really didn't have another option. Was fortunate to live where my particular cancer had been successfully treated before at the time only 50 or so people had been diagnosed while still breathing. Every day is a gift for sure. Doc told me (off the record) if there ever a time to smoke some herb this is it. Srsly pisses me off sick people can't get medical marijuana! They can pump you full of all kinds of knarly ish but you can't get weed. WTF?

 

The numbers you would like to see, pharma CEOs pay, and cure rates with chemo, are indeed readily available. Neither is kept secret--you just have to know where to go to view them.
Standard & Poor for salaries, or even Yahoo stock section,
NCI for chemo rates, or NLM (national library of Medicine search function).

Public companies are public" about their CEO salaries--it is required of them, I believe.

you know what probably causes autism the (food) and the hundred chemicals in the drinking waters are the country, i mean you can look at your local water plant online and see all the nasty **** in your water. ect radioactive isotopes, yes some do occur naturally in nature, hell we have cesium and arsenic. not chem trails..they have been doing weather modification since the 1950s, most vaccines are necessary. now the flu vaccine is retarded and just a guess on what type of strain of flu will come this year, its a scam. live a healthy life and stay away from sick people as much as you can, after contact sanitize. hands are the dirtiest thing on the planet, you just shook that dudes hand congrats you now have the flu.
