This thread has got to be the most informative, provocative, entertaining, off the rails thread in Swellinfo history. No Snarky sarcasm intended.

Slashy, mushroom spores literally may have traveled here from space. That's not just McKenna(I love his analysis of drugs/culture, but don't take the time wave too seriously)..but even Paul Stamets, a heavy hitter mycologist, suggests this may be a possibility.

Just going with the flow right? One topic leads to another, one tangent connects to another, and away we go!

"Because these events are reported voluntarily from a population of uncertain size, it is not always possible to reliably estimate their frequencies or to establish a causal relationship to components of Tripedia vaccine"

What that means is that just because it rained after you ate a grilled cheese, it doesn't mean grilled cheese sandwiches will make it rain.

Timing has a lot to do with the success of a rain dance...

That's a great summary of how stupid anti-vaxxers are.

Its not about the actual vaccine, its what is added to the mixture that is proving there is something wrong here. The truth is somewhere, you have to start with theories to get the conversation going towards the answer. It is proven that all the chemicals we ingest are effecting our Guts and killing good bacteria. One of the most potent amounts of chemicals a new born gets hit with are vaccines. Seems like a logical place to start.

DPSUP - good for you man!

We did the same thing, only the priority was for my wife to be able to stay home and spend as much time as possible raising our lil one. The eldest is out of the house, and when the lil one is out of house/college, you can be dam sure I'll be making that move, but the priority will be waves instead of kids then.

I don't regret it a bit, our lil one is turning out to be a smart, strong, and all around excellent human being, and my wife has been able to spend loads of QT that otherwise she would have missed and never gotten back. (I do still whine when I look at the cams though...)

But when she's out on her own...it's time to up my wave count. Until then, the lil one comes first.

If you haven't already, you might want to check out Asimov's Foundation series.

As part of my major in college way back in the day I had to become proficient in statistics as well. I found it to be pretty fascinating actually. The basics are, if you do the sampling right, do the math right, and have a sample of sufficient size, you can pretty accurately predict the behavior of masses of people. And the larger the sample, the more accurate it gets. And the beauty of it is it's all based on mathematics. No guessing, no hunches, just math, and mathematics is inherently unbiased.

Asimov takes this concept and applies it to a scale of a galactic empire of hundreds of billions of people. A team of brilliant scientists, working over time, is able to figure out the principals and the math and is able to predict the future of mankind for 10s of thousands of years. He calls it "psychohistory".

The two main principles that are the basis for the series are that the behavior of the entire human race is predictable if you just do the right math, but predicting the behavior of a single human is impossible.

I'd go into more, but then I'd start dropping spoilers...but I think you get the point.

Butttttt.... If your kids are vaccinated, aren't they protected and immune from the diseases archy's children may or may not be carrying? They should be fine right? Isn't that the point of the vaccines that you completely endorse yet at the same time have no faith in. Just sayin'.

Doublethink is the act of simultaneously accepting two mutually contradictory beliefs as correct, often in distinct social contexts.[1] Doublethink is related to, but differs from, hypocrisy and neutrality. Somewhat related but almost the opposite is cognitive dissonance, where contradictory beliefs cause conflict in one's mind. Doublethink is notable due to a lack of cognitive dissonance — thus the person is completely unaware of any conflict or contradiction.

There is a difference between the SCIENCE of vaccines and the QUALITY of vaccines currently manufactured by Big Pharma. archy and I don't reject the science behind vaccines, we reject vaccines full of toxic preservatives, genetically engineered viruses and fetal tissue with known correlations to a range of neurological disorders.
Why would the Federal Gov't have this http://www.hrsa.gov/vaccinecompensation/ if vaccines were 'Safe and Effective'? Just sayin'.

That's cool, sounds like we did things in reverse order. You did the kid thing first, waves 2nd, which is cool too, like I said, whatever is important to you. Your wife staying home with the kids is a luxury for sure, and awesome you were able to do it. We don't have kids yet so that's next on our radar now that we have things simplified and we are where we plan on being for a long time. Would be cool to have a little tribe to bring to the beach and surf with one day :)

Nah you're doing it right amigo. The way me knees\back\shoulder are by the time the lil one is out of the house I'll probably be sponging it. But that's ok too, beats sitting in an office chair,

But yeah, get those waves in now while you still can!

Teaching my kids to surf/whatever was pretty f'ing awesome. I still hoot it up when they get on it!

Sounds similar to what I was babbling about in the morning. Thanks man I'll definitely check it out! Such instances are fairly self evident, soon as you zoom out a bit and maybe blur your vision to see the larger shape move instead of individual particles.
