Yeah - a bad habit I've gotten into from riding alternative shapes. Serves you well setting a speed line on a long mushy wave. Hard to break the habit of hopping up weight forward when you switch back to a board that really needs to be driven by your rear foot.

I'm right there with you. I think my habit is from riding my 7'6" so often. I love the grov so much because it's very forgiving on foot positioning. Will fly no matter what. But not gonna make that my crutch. Just something I'm going to work on.
