TL, can you do a long term report for me? I like a lot of GW shapes but the glass job seems a little thin and the deck gets beat up exposing the stringer ridge. Let me know how the deck holds up... Hope yours lasts a long time, looks like it'll catch everything!

Sure man, no prob. I'm heavy footed so will prob be able to tell sooner than later how the glass holds up.

If I forget just ping me after a couple months. Plan on catching a lot of summer mush on this baby.

    I like it.
What's the bottom like? looks concave in the nose with some belly in the back end.

Pretty much, I'll snap a pic of the bottom tonight and post it up.

    Thanks PJ!

    Nice. Good luck with it.
I'm having fun dialing a board like that in right now. Mine's 9'x23"x3". I think mine has a wider nose and tail. It has a bunch of tail rocker and just a tiny bit up front. Getting the fin placement right has been a trip. I had it all the way back and it worked fine. Great for noserides but I felt I was missing out when I wanted to turn. I moved it up midway and I felt I was over steering this weekend. now it's 1/4" further back until it feels just right.

Thanks man, gonna do the same, start with the fin all the way back, then move it up and see what works best. I'm more into turning than walking.

Hope you get yours sorted out.

New bort stoke... one of the great, pure, true pleasures in life! I got a nice healthy dose of it today. Surfed like I was 10 years younger. Amazing what a fresh stick in fun waves will do for ya.

There's pics somewhere in another thread, but I rode a new 6'4 round tail today set up with Stretch quads. Felt a little drifty coming off riding a twin keeled fish pretty much all winter... but I'll get used to it. Next session I'll try it as a quad plus nubster... see how that goes.

Nice Bort T-loke! Ima tryin' it out next time we get together. You can try my new fish.
Snapped a fin off it pulling in to a shore break right yesterday at low tide, but I had a spare from pulling into a shore break left last spring!

Rt on LBC. Haven't been on a LB in a while, mainly riding my 7'6" and occasionally my 6'8" when duck diving the 7'6" is a pita. Looking forward to catching lots and lots of waves on the LB.

Didn't see the pics of your new bort, glad it worked out great for ya!

How were the fins setup on the fish vs the round tail? Curious as to the difference. Enlighten me, o guru!
